What a day! Emily and Dan’s July wedding at the elegant Ellenborough Park Hotel in Cheltenham was simply unforgettable. Ellenborough Park isn’t just a luxurious venue—it’s a photographer’s dream, with stunning architecture, beautiful grounds, and plenty of natural light. Being just a few minutes from my home, I know this venue inside out, and it’s always a joy to capture weddings here. With a couple as relaxed and fun as Emily and Dan, I knew we were in for a day full of genuine moments and smiles.

2. Bridal Prep: Relaxed, Family-Focused, and Ready

Emily’s bridal prep took place in one of Ellenborough Park’s elegant rooms, with a calm and relaxed atmosphere. Surrounded by her bridal party and her two kids—her daughter and son—she soaked up the morning, enjoying hair and makeup while sharing laughs and quiet moments with her family. The natural light in the room was perfect for capturing these candid, heartfelt pre-wedding memories. Dan also enjoyed a relaxed morning with the groomsmen, making the most of the bacon rolls and beers on offer!

3. The Ceremony: Heartfelt Moments in Ellenborough Park’s Chapel

Emily and Dan’s ceremony took place in Ellenborough Park’s stunning indoor chapel, a warm and intimate setting for their family of four. As Emily walked down the aisle, emotions ran high—both children were beaming, and Dan couldn’t hide his tears. The chapel’s classic design and natural light created the perfect backdrop for these heartfelt moments, making their July wedding ceremony truly unforgettable.

4. Confetti & Group Shots: Fun with Family and Friends

After the ceremony in Ellenborough Park’s chapel, Emily, Dan, their two kids, and around 90 guests headed outside for a lively confetti moment. Everyone joined in, tossing handfuls of colourful confetti to celebrate the newlyweds, creating a joyful and unforgettable scene. Once the confetti settled, we gathered the whole group outside the event space for a classic group photo, capturing the smiles and excitement of their family and friends on such a special day.

5. Drinks and Wedding Breakfast: Relaxed and Delicious

Thankfully, the July weather held up, so guests could enjoy welcome drinks outdoors on Ellenborough Park’s beautiful lawn. After the group shots and some quiet, romantic moments with Emily and Dan, everyone settled in for the wedding breakfast. The speeches were heartfelt, full of laughs, and perfectly paced, while the food—crafted by Ellenborough Park’s talented chefs—was absolutely delicious, rounding off a relaxed and joyful afternoon.

6. Sunset Photos: Magical Evening Glow

After the wedding breakfast, I took Emily and Dan aside for some sunset photos. Ellenborough Park’s grounds are beautiful at any time of day, but with the July evening light, the scenery was truly magical. The golden glow wrapped around them perfectly, giving a relaxed, romantic vibe. The evening kicked off with a lively first dance, full of smiles, laughter, and plenty of dancing. I also captured some fun, relaxed groom shots with cigars that perfectly showed off Dan’s personality. The day wrapped up with a magical sparkler exit, creating a stunning, celebratory moment to end an unforgettable wedding at Ellenborough Park.
