The History of Foxhill Manor
Located in the heart of Cotswolds, Broadway, Worcestershire, the award-winning Foxhill Manor is a Grade-II listed Arts and Crafts country home turned into a contemporary private house hotel. Foxhill Manor was built in 1909 by the esteemed Yorkshire architect, Joseph Lancaster Ball. Originally a private residence for Sheffield steel entrepreneur, Samuel Joshua Cooper, and his family, the manor sprawled over 400 acres of manicured grounds. In the 1920s, it subsequently became a prestigious boarding school and remained so for several decades until it was given a new lease of life as a luxurious wedding venue. It wasn’t until 2013 that Farncombe Estate, the Davies family, transformed this grand, old home into an epitome of boutique luxury. Keeping its period character intact, it was refurbished with ten well-appointed bedrooms and plush drawing rooms. With expansive Cotswold lawns and the backdrop of beautiful Vale of Evesham, Foxhill Manor has grown to be a sought-after location for hosting intimate weddings, offering an enchanting combination of classic elegance and modern comfort. Over the years, it has carved a unique niche as an exclusive-use venue that marries Edwardian magnificence with contemporary design and hospitality.
